We have all experienced emptiness.
Yet that experience is different for everyone.
Some describe it as a vague sadness with no apparent cause; others feel emotionally numb. Psychiatrists and psychoanalysts might speak of anhedonia, apathy, acedia, or spleen.
When our inner clowns disappear, what remains?
« Requiem for a Clown » is an abstract encounter between a woman, a cradle, and the voices of her childhood—of her lost sense of wonder.
SHE reveals her inner emptiness and her fear of a daily life in which nothing seems to hold any value anymore.
SHE, too, refuses abandonment. She struggles. She recoils from the void.
To reconnect. To rediscover the inner clown who refuses to fade away.
Through words, movement, and music, the two performers confront one another, unsure of what they are searching for, yet aware that what unfolds between them concerns nothing less than the rest of a life.
« Requiem for A Clown » is an exploration of space, movement, language, and sound a multidisciplinary invitation to reflect on our emotional voids. It is brought to life by **Rhiannon Morgan**, dancer and actress, and Servane Io Le Moller, performer, accordionist, and musician
