DU MONDE

In African mythology, the Earth is seen as a woman, source of creation. Five female performers will embody the five senses and the five elements through the six-part narrative of the original musical score. In a chaos of complex movements, these bodies will interact through their own unique body vocabulary and then merge in harmony to form a whole, reflecting the essence of human existence, beyond differences. Fully integrated with the musicians of the orchestra, the dancers will merge with the instruments in a perfect unity reflecting the basic constitution common to every human being.
