Clementine questions our perception of romantic stories and the image we project of them in our real and virtual lives. Using a technical device of screens and live cameras, the choreographer explores what remains unchanging: our need for contact, for sharing, for being loved and valued by others. At a time when social networks claim to bring people closer together, Rhiannon Morgan invites us to take a step back and question the possibility that they are actually doing exactly the opposite: taking people away from themselves rather than bringing them closer to others.

What connects them is their mobile phone screens A digital window through which they reveal themselves hide, search and try to find each other, but only manage to lose themselves further. What separates them is the audience as voyeur, active in the quest of the two protagonists. The spectator is immersed in the duality of the performers' behaviour, connected to their virtual avatars, but also in their solitude as they confront themselves. Clementine questions our perception of romantic stories and the image we project of them in our real and virtual lives.

Following the Nouveaux.elles Createur.ices program of Trois CL Maison De La Danse, Rhiannon Morgan uses dance to question human relationships and unspeakable emotions, taking the audience to task in a choreography that blends surprise, humour and wonder
